Snorkeling lovers can enjoy wonderful seabeds. In these waters, which were the site of a famous battle between the Romans and the Carthaginians during the first Punic War, the marine fauna and flora are closely intertwined and swim among ancient finds that have already become an integral part of these seabeds. The “grotta Perciata”, the “Bue Marino” and the “grotta dei Sospiri (the cave of sighs)”, as well as Cala Rotonda and the Galeotta are the habitat of numerous schools of breams, octopus and moray eels. Moreover, it won’t be difficult to encounter some unruly dolphins attracted by this wealth of sea life.
